Magician Roy Horn of Siegfried & Roy Dead at 75 From COVID 19 Complications

The world lost another gem Roy Horn to Coronavirus. Roy Horn was tested positive for COVID-19 several weeks ago. He has been fighting the virus since then and ultimately died.

The news was confirmed by Horn’s publicist Dave Kirvin and Siegfried. They mourned his loss and he will be missed forever.

Siegfried is most affected by the death of Roy Horn. “Today the world lost one of the greats of magic, but I lost my best friend” cried, Siegfried.

He also said “From the moment we met, I knew Roy and I, together, would change the world. There could be no Siegfried without Roy, and no Roy without Siegfried.”

Nothing Can Replace His Loss.

Roy Horn is known as a magician and animal trainer and half of the famous legendary Las Vegas duo Siegfried and Roy. He was born in 1944 in Germany and started their act in 1967. Horn has a great connection with animals, he adopted Cheetah, Chico from a German zoo.

He had good fame as an illusionist and magician. In 2003, on a stage performance, he was dragged by his Tiger named Mantecore as he was suffering from stroke and paralysis. The audience was stunned with the act of tiger. Later he named the Tiger as “my lifesaver”.

Roy and Siegfried were officially retired in 2010 but appeared in public with different programs.

Roy Horn was a fighter, he survived a stroke and paralysis, he also had a battle with coronavirus and finally lost his life. We lost a great magician.

Ray Horn was 75 years old, left our world on Friday, and the news was announced on Saturday. Siegfried also announced that a private funeral is arranged. He thanked all the doctors, nurses, and other staff who are risking their lives for treating COVID-19 patients.

According to the press, a public memorial will also be planned. Siegfried asked donations in name of Horn’s to be made to the Nevada COVID-19 responses.
